What a trooper you are Marky! Porter was so happy to see you "almost sitting up" today in these photos. He wants to play with you as soon as you get better! You make a wonderful soldier in your hat of honor! We are so proud of you and your determination to fight this! You are truly a beacon of light for all of us! Your mom and dad are so lucky to have such a great boy!

Netters-- we are just as amazed with you and your positive light. You are continually in our thougths and prayers. It was fun hangin' with Scottee tonight at YM/YW...he still keeps a smile and his contagious laugh about him all the way!

Love you and miss you tons!

I love that story about the running buddy. I think I've also seen those same selfless angelic qualities in Marky's parents. What a great team of runners you are!!! Keep it up. Know that we are all cheering for you and praying for you.

Visiting with Lynette Wednesday night
I shared with her a quote I had just read, "Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together." This thought brought a thoughtful moment of thanks to Lynette's face and she asked me to share this thought with all of you. She is so grateful for all the sticking together that is going on.

Dear Lynette,
Dan and I want so much to come and see you and Marky, but unfortunately our family all have colds and we don't want to get anywhere near Marky for fear we would make things worse for him. Our prayers are with him and your family.
Love, Dan and Susanne Price and family

Hey Marky I just want to tell you a little story of what you have taught me. Yesterday I had to fly to Denver in a snow storm, basically everything that could had went wrong did. The flight out was delayed by 2 hours, the flight back was delayed by 2 hours, it took me an hour extra to get to and from the airport, they couldn't get the airplane door open when we landed, the place I parked my car lost it for a little while.....so basically it could have been a very horrible, rotten no good day. BUT every time something happened I thought of you and your courage and patience and my problems just faded away. None of those little delays even mattered. I had a great trip! I didn't yell at anyone and I was patient and kind. Thank you for making me a better person!!!! I love you.

Hey Marky here's my quote for the day.

"When you come to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on."

We continue to pray for you and your wonderful family. We are still homebound because Neil has had a total hip replacement so we cannot visit you. Just know you are in our thoughts, hearts and prayers!!
